The SeaDarQ radar system is used on vessels or on land to detect and track oil spill.  The system can also process radar images to extract hydrographic, oceanographic and environmental information from sea surface.

SeaDarQ representative in China - Sunic-Ocean - participated in a Oil Spill Emergency Workshop in Qingdao. Organized by Chinese MSA, the initiative aims to enhance a cooperation between IMO, IPIECA and MSA on preparedness and response to oil spills, and to promote China’s capability-building against marine oil spills. SeaDarQ Oil Spill Detection Radar makes US debut in Miami

The well-established oil spill detection system with radar – SeaDarQ conducted a live demonstration in partnership with the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Miami, Florida. Hosted by NortekUSA, this technical demonstration including a simulated spill using popcorn, has once again proven SeaDarQ’s capability to detect oil in various locations and weather conditions. The operation was attended by visitors from the US and the Caribbean.
