Seven New SeaDarQ Systems to China

Nortek B.V. representative Qingdao Sunic-Ocean Marine T&S Co. Ltd., a leading global company, will be supplying 7 SeaDarQ Radar-based Oil Spill Detection and Monitoring Systems to CNOOC Limited and TianJin MSA in China.

The order has been booked in the segment of Marine Gas & Oil and Marine Safety Administration. Delivery is scheduled for Q2 - 2014. CNOOC Limited is China’s largest producer of offshore crude oil and natural gas and one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in the world.

The Group mainly engages in exploration, development, production and sales of oil and natural gas. The hydrographic brigade of Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration (abr. Tianjin MSA) is a professional unit in charge of the surveying and mapping in the coastal ports and channels in the North China Sea.

These SeaDarQ installations are straight-forward, yet really special. They will consist of a Processing Unit industrial server with our Radar NMEA Interface and a Radar consisting of a 12 Foot vertical polarized antenna.

"This is certainly a significant project for our unique SeaDarQ OSD system, which shows that it is gaining more and more widespread acceptance and the order confirms a clear reliance on this Oil Spill Detection & Monitoring System," says Egon Oltmans, Sales & Marketing at Nortek B.V.
