all zeros in AST spectrum
Up to Waves
Hi,
I am trying to view the contents of an AWAC data file (.wpr) from 2009 using STORM v1.14
I can see the one-dimensional wave energy and directiosn spectrum (upper right panels)
and the Wave burst data (upper left) and wave header data (lower left) all ok and can step
through in time. However, I wish to view the two-dimensional spectra and the AST spectrum
(lower right panel) shows zeros at all times. Why is this ? Can someone please help ?
Regards,
Jim Gunson
Hi Graham,
All you need to do is use the "Select Profile Graphic" option in the top of the Storm window. It is the icon that has the arrow with the vertical line to the left, click on it. Then just select a space in time on the Energy Spectrogram, Frequency Diagram, Direction Spectogram (lower left - middle panel) that you want to measure and click. This will present you with a line in this window and will provide you with results in the AST Spectrum window (lower right panel) for the place in time selected.

Ramsay
